St Veronica is important to me because it was my love from the first sight. It reminded me of my beloved church in Damascus, Syria, a Franciscan Church, St. Anthony.
I love the parishioners and priests of St. Veronica. They are my family home. I liked St. Veronica immediately. However, I was new and a stranger. I cried so much until I became familiar with a lot of holy, wonderful parishioners, through Sr. Marcine, who I love dearly and who took care of the funeral of my sister, Marie, who passed away on September 12, 1997.
